The context
African cities are growing faster than their infrastructure.
Across the continent, cities are adding residents far faster than they are adding roads, and commuter populations in business districts can double at peak. Urban mobility infrastructure has not kept pace with that growth, leaving millions of people reliant on informal, fragmented, and often unsafe transit options.
Existing global ride-hailing platforms are not built for African operational realities. They don't account for cash-dominant economies, inconsistent connectivity, high vehicle informality, or the distinct commute patterns of African workers. Siza is built from the ground up to solve these exact problems.

Safety infrastructure is built into every Siza product as a first design constraint, not an afterthought. Live telemetry, rigorous driver vetting, and an operations console are core to the platform, not features bolted on later.

First commit. A multi-region, multi-currency dispatch engine with real-time telemetry and fleet management, built so that region, pricing and payment method are configuration rather than code. A new market is set up, not rebuilt.

Where Siza works
What makes a city a fit
We have not opened anywhere yet. These are the conditions we assess a city against. We will name the first one when it opens, not before.
Repeatable corridors
Shuttles only work where enough people make the same journey at the same time. A city without dense, repeating commuter routes gets cabs and delivery, but not the economics that make the rest work.
Cash has to be enough
Every service takes cash from the first ride, so a city needs no particular level of card or wallet adoption before Siza can operate there. A payment rail is something we add, not something we wait for.
A workable path through licensing
Ride-hailing, shared shuttles and delivery are each regulated differently, and often by different bodies. A city we can operate in lawfully and openly beats a larger one we cannot.
